STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Get a sneak peak inside Dodger Stadium while helping out local youth in need!

Dr. Emily McGrath, a clinical psychologist at Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services, visited the KCAL9 studios Tuesday to talk about their upcoming fundraiser.

The Sept. 24 “Celebrating Children” event starts at 6:30 p.m. and concludes at 10:30 p.m. The public can purchase tickets to the event, which will include a Stadium Club cocktail party; suite-quality food; meet-and-greet photo/autograph session with a former Dodger great; cheering on the Blue Crew via DodgerVision and walls of flat-screen TVs; and a live auction. Premium-ticket holders also will be treated to a pre-game VIP stadium tour.

Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services, which is one of the largest, nonprofit, private children’s mental-health and welfare agencies in Los Angeles County, provides a comprehensive continuum of services to more than9,000 children and families annually through a network of facilities stretching across the greater Los Angeles area including the San Fernando Valley, San Gabriel Valley, and the Antelope Valley.

Services include: a residential-treatment center for youth ages 6 through 18; foster care and adoption services; a nonpublic school; school-based and outpatient-mental-health services; wraparound and in-home counseling services; a transitional-living program for teens and young adults; a family resource center; and a grief and loss center for children.
