Singer Miguel Arrested For Alleged DUI In Marina Del Rey

MARINA DEL REY (CBSLA.com) — Singer Miguel was arrested Thursday in Marina del Rey for allegedly driving under the influence.

A California Highway Patrol officer pulled Miguel Jontel Pimentel over just before 2:15 a.m. near Lincoln Boulevard and Mindanao Way, officials said.

The 27-year-old was allegedly driving fast in a BMW X6 with dark tinted windows, according to CHP.

He was taken into custody and booked at the Los Angeles Police Department's 77th Street Station on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Pimentel was released around 5:15 a.m. on $5,000 bail, according to police.

A preliminary hearing was set for Sept. 9.
