Pasadena-Area Apartments Hit By Series Of Burglaries

PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Nearly a dozen burglaries have occurred at apartments in Pasadena since July 6, police said Friday.

The series of 11 burglaries occurred south of Del Mar Boulevard between Oak Knoll and Los Robles avenues.

In two of the incidents, two suspects believed to be between the age of 16 and 20 were seen leaving the area in a black sport utility vehicle.

Police said in another burglary, the pair may have picked up two suspects.

Police suspect that the burglars entered the first- or second-floor apartments through unlocked or open windows.

The thefts occurred before noon.

Residents in the area were cautioned to lock doors and windows and report suspicious activity by calling (626) 744-4241.
