Turn Recyclables Into Furniture With Tips From HGTV, Food Network Designer Taniya Nayak
STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — HGTV and Food Network designer Taniya Nayak stopped by KCAL9 Tuesday to show viewers how to recycle various plastics around the house and turn them into gorgeous pieces of home furniture.
She showcased a range of indoor/outdoor items that can transform a home into a stylish living space that contributes to sustainability.
Nayak has teamed up with Plastics Make it Possible®, an initiative by the American Chemistry Council, to help people go green with their plastics.
She currently hosts HGTV's House Hunters on Vacation and is a featured designer on Food Network's "Restaurant: Impossible".
In April 2011, Nayak was honored with an Excellence in Design award from ASID New England.
