Kobe At Dodgers-Yankees Game: Walking Stairs With No Limp, All Positive Signs

Real Madrid's Ronaldo Throws 1st Pitch In Star-Filled Dodgers-Yankees Game

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) - Anyone who's anybody seemed to be at Dodger stadium the last two nights.  Tuesday it was Jay-Z, Jack Nicholson, and a crew of NBA all-stars, including Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden.

Wednesday night, Kobe Bryant used his influence with owner Magic Johnson to nab dugout seats, and talked to CBS2/KCAL9 Jim Hill on how his achilles rehab is coming.

"I'm moving along extremely well, Kobe told Jim Hill next to the Dodgers' dugout.

"I'm pretty fortunate with how fast things have been moving along for me. I'm walking around just fine with no limp. I can go up and down the stairs all I want - all positive signs."

With just two months left until camp, all an upbeat-Kobe is thinking...is getting ready for camp.

"Thank God," Kobe said about the upcoming season. "We gotta get going so we can put last year behind us and get this thing moving in the right direction."

Along with Kobe, one of the world's best soccer players, Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo, threw out not one, but two first pitches.

Yasiel Puig was his catcher, and before the ball and glove, the pair played a little juggling act, surrounding by photographers and fans looking in on the stars.

Other celebrities that attended the game were LL Cool J, Christina Aguilera and Cowboys teammates Jason Whitten and DeMarcus Ware.

The 2-game series drew a combined sellout crowd of 105,460.
