Trabuco Canyon Man Arrested For Alleged Child Sex Abuse

TRABUCO CANYON (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Tuesday said a 52-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing four children may have other possible victims.

Michael Clair Glines was arrested on July 17 for lewd and lascivious acts upon children under the age of 10, the Orange County Shefiff's Department said.

"To date, the Orange County Sheriff's Special Victims Detail Investigators have identified four victims, both male and female under the age of ten," Lt. Jeff Hallock said in a statement.

Sheriff's officials believe the acts occurred between 2010 and 2012 at or near Glines' residence in the Robinson Ranch area of Trabuco Canyon.

"Glines resides near a school and some parks and investigators feel there may be additional victims," Lt. Hallock added.

He is being held at the Orange County Jail on $1 million bail.

Anyone with information regarding possible victims should contact the OCSD at (714)674-7000.
