MISSION VIEJO (CBSLA.com) — A husband chased down a suspect who exposed himself in front of his wife outside the couple’s Mission Viejo home.

Mark Andrew Green, 44, was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure, assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and obstructing law enforcement, according to Orange County sheriff’s Lt. Jeff Hallock. He’s being held without bail.

Around 10 p.m. Monday, the woman looked through a window and saw Green allegedly pleasure himself.

The victim alerted her 29-year-old husband, who chased Green down the block and jumped into the bed of the suspect’s pickup truck.

Green jumped out of his vehicle and assaulted the husband before he fled the area, said Hallock.

Sheriff’s deputies later took Green into custody after a short pursuit in Rancho Santa Margarita.

Neighbors called the husband a hero.

“I think it’s really noble and brave. It’s cool that he did that. I would want my husband to do that, too. Take action and chase him down,” said Miranda Ross.
