Ontario Police Ask For Public's Help To Find Missing Man, 23

ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — The Ontario Police Department is asking the public to help them locate a missing 23-year-old man.

Joseph Anthony Garcia was reported missing Sunday morning.

Officers responding to a home in the 1800 block of North Orange Avenue took a missing person's report after they discovered Garcia's abandoned vehicle in the driveway.

Police said they found keys in the car, the driver's side door open and bags of recently purchased fast food.

Detectives learned that Garcia had attended a Dodger Game Saturday evening and then traveled to a part-time job as a musician at a night club in Lakewood. After leaving the club, he told family members that he would be picking up food for them and expected to return home at about 1:30 a.m.

Ontario detectives say Garcia may be a victim of foul play.

Garcia is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 175 pounds and has black hair. He was last seen wearing a white short sleeve button up shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.

Anyone with information about Garcia's whereabouts is asked to contact the Ontario Department at (909)395-2001 or Detective Gary Naranjo at (909)395-2764.
