WB 60 Shut Down After Car Gets Stuck Under Big Rig
MONTEREY PARK (CBSLA.com) — The westbound 60 was closed Wednesday evening after a vehicle got stuck under a big rig in Monterey Park.
The vehicle, believed to be a red Chevy Impala, was reported stuck just after 9:20 p.m.
Rescue units were dispatched to help the driver, a male, who was trapped.
Gil Leyvas, reporting in Sky9, said that officials were using the Jaws of Life to extricate the driver. Leyvas did not believe there were any passengers in the vehicle.
No word on the driver's condition.
The big rig driver was not injured.
