Public's Help Sought In Search For Missing Redondo Beach Girl, 15

REDONDO BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Redondo Beach police Wednesday were asking for the public's help locating a 15-year-old apparent runaway.

Sgt. Michael Martinez said Emma Carter left her home in the 2700 block of 182nd St. Tuesday afternoon following an argument with her mother.

She was reported missing at approximately 10 p.m.

Martinez described the teenager as white with green eyes. She is 5'8" and weighs 130 pounds.

Authorities are not yet treating her disappearance as a "critical missing" case. She does not appear to be in any danger and police hope she will return home on her own, investigators said.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was asked to call Redondo Beach police at (310) 379-2477.
