LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Former Clippers center Chris Kaman is headed back to Southern California after reportedly agreeing to a one-year deal with the Los Angeles Lakers.

The 31-year-old center/forward, who played for the Dallas Mavericks during the 2012-2013 season, was drafted by the Los Angeles Clippers in 2003 where he played for nine consecutive years.

ESPN’s Marc Stein first tweeted about the deal Monday afternoon.

Kaman followed up with a series of tweets confirming the agreement.
