CORONA (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday sought the public’s help in catching two drivers whose vehicles knocked down 71 mailboxes in the city of Corona over the weekend.

The vandalism reportedly occurred around 2 a.m. on June 29 at homes in the 1100 block of Via Ixtapa, 3000 block of Via Mazatlan, 1200 block of Stephanie Drive and 1200 block of Bridgeport Road, according to Corona police.

A video posted on YouTube by one resident appears to show one suspect climbing out of a vehicle and repeatedly kicking a mailbox to the ground. All the targeted mailboxes were on wooden poles, police said.

A second video appeared to show multiple angles of the incident from security camera footage.

Police described the vehicles seen on video as a black truck and a silver car.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Corona Police Department at (951)736-2334.
