CASTAIC (CBSLA.com) — Fire crews were battling a 10-acre brush fire in Castaic Friday night.

The blaze started around 8:40 p.m. near Green Hill Drive.

Nearly 100 firefighters, along with water-dropping helicopters, helped knock down the fire around 10:40 p.m.

No structures were threatened.

No injuries were reported.
