Man, 54, Wanted For Allegedly Stabbing Acquaintance During Roadside Argument

WILDOMAR (CBSLA.com) —Police are on the hunt for a 54-year-old Menifee man accused of stabbing an acquaintance during a roadside altercation in Wildomar.

Richard Mount is suspected of puncturing an unidentified 53-year-old man multiple times during an argument on Cottonwood Canyon Road around noon, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Marc Cloutier.

The suspect, who is considered armed and dangerous, immediately fled the area in a blue pickup truck, which may have been an older model Nissan Frontier.

A passerby helped the victim until paramedics arrived on the scene and took him to a hospital, where he remains in serious but stable condition.

Anyone with information on Mount's whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's Wildomar station at (951) 245-3357 or 911.
