Man Arrested For Allegedly Forcing Girl To Perform Sex Act At Knifepoint

CHINO HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly forcing a young girl to perform a sex act on him at knifepoint in Chino Hills.

Brandon Barbour was taken into custody around 7 p.m. Wednesday and booked on suspicion of contact of a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense.

Police said the suspect followed the victim while she was walking to school Tuesday morning on Peyton and Carriage drives. He then brandished a knife and ordered the girl to engage in a lewd act.

The victim fled and reported the incident to school officials, who contacted authorities.

The next day, the girl reportedly saw Barbour walking through her apartment complex and told her parents.

Barbour was held by the victim's father until officials arrived. Investigators later found the suspect's knife, jacket and vehicle.
