Pomona Toddler Severely Injured After Falling From 2nd-Story Apartment Balcony

POMONA (CBSLA.com) — A Pomona toddler was severely injured Tuesday night after falling 20 feet from a second-story apartment balcony.

The incident happened around 8 p.m. in the 2400 block of Angela Street.

Family members said 2-year-old Kadrina Prado wandered onto the balcony and fell onto the pavement below.

Relatives said when they found the child, she couldn't move and was barely breathing.

Prado was airlifted to the hospital and was being treated for serious head injuries.

Police are investigating.
