Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (June 6)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The marine layer is out in force again this morning although the thickness is slightly less.  That will give us just a little quicker burn-off.

Temperatures will be slightly warmer than yesterday, but still generally at or below average.  Beaches will hang with the clouds for a good portion of the day.

The cut-off low responsible for this on-shore flow is still sitting off shore, however it is nudging just a little closer.  The high pressure that will rid over the low into the Great Basin will help to warm us up a bit over the weekend.

However, the heat doesn't look as widespread as before.

Deserts, Mountains and Interior Valleys are looking at the biggest warm up.  Coastal areas and the LA Basin will be just a bit above average.  Saturday still looks like the warmest day.

Then things cool down again next week.

Basin -mid 70s

Beaches - low 70s

Valleys - mid 80s

Mountains - upper 70s

Deserts -upper 90s
