3.1-Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Channel Islands Region

MALIBU (CBSLA.com) — A magnitude-3.1 earthquake shook the Channel Islands region Friday morning.

The minor trembler struck at 6:24 a.m. It's epicenter was 29 miles southwest of Malibu, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

There were no reports of injuries or damage.
