Philanthropist, Author Linda Daly Discusses Latest Book 'The Last Pilgrimage'

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Philanthropist and author, Linda Daly, stopped by KCAL9 Wednesday to tell viewers about her book, "The Last Pilgrimage: My Mother's Life and Our Journey to Saying Goodbye".

In the book, Daly book celebrates her mother, Nancy Daly, for her remarkable achievements as a children's advocate, philanthropist and arts leader, for her indomitable spirit and for her determination to do anything to beat cancer.

Nancy Daly, who founded many organizations including Children's Action Network, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2006. She received the best medical treatment and endured extensive surgeries, including the removal of part of her pancreas, her gall bladder, her duodenum and more.
