PASADENA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday were investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was found dead in Pasadena.

The white male adult was found about 1 p.m. inside a motel room in the 3800 block of Colorado Boulevard.

Investigators say deputies initially responded to the location regarding a call of an unresponsive person.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

A statement issued by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says the man has not been identified.

His cause of death remains unknown.

No further information was provided.
