PICO RIVERA (CBSLA.com) — Three people were in stable condition Monday morning after an argument led to a stabbing outside of a Pico Rivera bar.

The incident happened just after midnight at Iguana's Bar in the 8500 block of Washington Boulevard, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said.

According to officials, the fight involved several patrons and resulted in the stabbing of a 28-year-old woman and two men, ages 32 and 48.

"They were involved in an argument with the suspect when he suddenly began stabbing them," the victims told deputies.

All three victims were transported to local hospitals.

Authorities say the suspect, described as a 65-year-old Hispanic man who is about 5 feet 5 inches, fled the scene in a blue Honda Accord.

It was unclear what prompted the fight.
