For Men, New Company Offers Style Without Shopping

VENICE (CBSLA.com) — A new company is giving men the chance to look good without ever having to set foot in a store.

Trunk Club is a complimentary service that assembles a trunk of 10 clothing items, individually selected by a personal stylist and customized to meet the client's specific taste. And even with the personalized attention, the company provides shipping and returns free of charge, with no obligation to buy. Best of all: the designer clothes are sold for the same price as in stores.

"Everything we do revolves around this simple notion: guys like to look good but hate to shop," said CEO Brian Spaly. Launched just three years ago, the Chicago-based company now boasts over 30,000 clients.

Venice resident Dustin Thomason, a successful author and television producer, is one of the many men out there without the time or patience to shop.

"This is my fourth trunk, and each time they get a little better," said Thomason.

CEO Spaly says they are not a fashion company but rather an apparel business, helping men find pieces that they can wear for years.
