Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (April 22)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — After a warm and dry weekend, our weather pattern is changing up once again.

We are looking at some cooler weather this week with the return of the marine layer.  There is a healthy on-shore flow and a coastal eddy spinning up.  That means we will be in the "clouds in the morning, sun in the afternoon" regime for the work week.

Already the marine layer is rolling into some of our valleys this morning, so expect temperatures to drop down a bit today.

There is a little bump in the jet stream tomorrow to give us a little better clearing and some warmer temps, but then it sags back down on Wednesday.  Temperatures for the end of the week will dip below normal.

There is a closed low moving through the area Thursday and Friday.  While we probably won't see any storm activity from this system, it may be strong enough to deepen the marine layer and squeeze out some drizzle.
