LAPD Hopes Public Can Help Them Solve 31-Year-Old Man's Murder

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Detectives with the West Bureau Homicide Division are hoping the public can help them solve the shooting death of a 31-year-old man.

Kallen Mahone was shot to death about 1:15 a.m. Wednesday.

He was walking along the 800 block of S. Gramercy Drive when he was shot multiple times in the torso by an unknown assailant.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics transported Mahone to a hospital where he was declared dead

Officials said they did not have a motive for the shooting.

Mahone, a black male, moved to Los Angeles less than a year ago, according to authorities.
