SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Monday were battling a roughly five-acre brush fire in Santa Clarita.

The blaze, which was burning at Bouquet Canyon Road and Esguerra Road, was reported just after 2:30 p.m.

One structure was possibly threatened, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The blaze was close to declared a knockdown by firefighters around 3:20 p.m.

No other details were immediately available.
