Minor Quake Reported Near Indio
INDIO (CBSLA.com) — Caltech says a minor quake has struck near Indio.
The temblor with a preliminary magnitude of 3.5 struck about 9 miles northeast of Indio at 12:14 p.m. Sunday.
The quake was also centered about 9 miles north-northeast of Coachella and 16 miles northeast of La Quinta, according to the U.S. Geological Survey website.
There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
