Man Killed, 3 Injured After Gunfire Erupts In North Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Police Sunday said one man has died and three other people were wounded in a shooting in north Long Beach.

Officers say they responded to the 300 block of East Home Street for a "shots fired" call and found multiple victims. The shooting happened shortly after midnight.

One man was pronounced dead at an area hospital. There was no word on the condition of the injured victims.

The shooter (s) remained at large. A suspect description was not available.

It was not immediately known if the incident was gang-related.

An investigation was underway.
