Dress-Wearing Vagrant Arrested Again For Public Masturbation
VENTURA (CBSLA.com) — Officers responding to a call of a subject engaging in a lewd act reportedly found a man masturbating outside a Dollar Smart business.
The incident occurred outside the business at 3530 E. Main Street at 11 a.m. Friday.
Officials said they arrested 27-year-old Jaye Vandervurg, whom they describe as a vagrant.
Store employees told police that Vandervurg was clearly masturbating under the dress he was wearing.
Vandervurg was arrested and booked into the Ventura County Jail for 647(a) PC, lewd acts in public.
This is not the man's first run in with the law. He was arrested in January for engaging in a lewd act in the parking lot of a Fresh and Easy in the 2200 block of Thompson Boulevard.
At the time of his January arrest, officials said they believed Vandervurg was also responsible for similar lewd acts outside several area businesses, particularly coffee shops.
