Boy Critical After Being Shot In The Back At Long Beach Gas Station
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — A boy was reportedly shot in the back Friday evening at a gas station in Long Beach.
Officers have rushed the boy, age undetermined, to an area hospital.
The child is listed in critical condition, according to authorities.
The shooting occurred at a gas station located at the intersection of Long Beach Boulevard and Del Amo Boulevard.
The child was sitting in a car with his parents when he was struck by errant gun fire around 8 p.m.
A second victim -- unrelated to the child -- reportedly walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound also from the same shooting. That victim's condition is unknown.
