Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Mar. 14)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — Yesterday lived up to the hype. We broke a couple of records with the high pressure focusing its strength over the west coast.

Burbank and Woodland Hills both reached into the 90s on Wednesday.  Look for similar conditions today.

The ridge hasn't moved all that much so we will be in the 80s and we will probably see some 90s.  However, the beach communities have been completely left out of the party.  Temperatures are cool at the coast because of a dense fog layer that has once again formed this morning.  An advisory is in place through 9 a.m.

The temperatures start backing down on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, but we will stay above average.  Beach communities won't cool down as temperatures are already low.

By next week, it looks like a broad trough along the west coast may give us a shot at rain.

Coast-low 70s

Basin-low 80s

Valleys-upper 80s

Mountains-mid 60s

Deserts--low 80s
