Irvine Officials ID 90-Year-Old Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Driver
IRVINE (CBSLA.com) — The Coroner's Office has identified a 90-year-old man who was fatally struck by a driver in Irvine.
The pedestrian was identified Saturday as Irvine resident Moshen Mirfakhraie, according to Irvine police.
Paramedics were dispatched to Trabuco Road and Monroe around 6:30 Friday and found the victim dead at the scene.
The driver who reportedly struck him stayed at the scene and spoke with officers, police Sgt. Rob Warren said.
It was not immediately known whether the driver was arrested or cited.
