TOPANGA (CBSLA.com) — Police Tuesday were searching for three suspects who allegedly stole several high-end handbags from a Neiman Marcus store in Woodland Hills.
Police responded to a call around 4:50 a.m. at the Westfield Topanga mall in the 6500 block of Topanga Blvd., according to LAPD officials.
KNX 1070′s John Brooks reports an alarm reportedly went off in the Neiman Marcus store shortly before dawn.
Arriving officers found that a window had been smashed near the cafe area of the store and a security gate had been cut open.
Surveillance tape also showed three hooded suspects entering the building earlier this morning, according to LAPD Sgt. Trev Stokes.
The burglars had grabbed a bunch of “high-end purses” and fled the location, Stokes added.
Police reportedly surrounded the store, but by the time they searched the premises, the suspects had escaped.
No arrests have been made.
