Missing 18-Year-Old's Family Seeks Public's Help

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —  The family of a missing 18-year-old girl is asking the public for help.

Nancy Carrera's family is worried that she has not been heard from in several days.

The family describes Carrera as "deeply despondent." She was last seen on March 3 around 10 a.m. at her residence in the 1400 block of Hope Street in Los Angeles.

Carrera is described as a Latina with black hair and brown eyes. She is 5 feet 2 inches and about 116 pounds. She was last seen in blue jeans, black boots, a gray hoodie and carrying a black back pack.

Anyone with information on Carrera's whereabouts is asked to call Detective Saiza of the LAPD's Missing Person's Unit: (213) 996-1800.
