"KNX On Your Corner" Spotlights The South Bay

KNX 1070 NEWSRADIO's award-winning series of in-depth profiles of Southern California communities is continuing as "KNX On Your Corner" shines its spotlight on the South Bay on Friday.

KNX 1070's focus on Torrance, Inglewood, Hawthorne, Carson, Gardena and Lawndale will explore each city's history, current events, improvement efforts, local economies including the aerospace and automotive industries and other timely issues. Civic leaders and special guests will be interviewed throughout the day.

The public is invited to meet and greet KNX's personalities when the primetime lineup broadcasts live on location from South Bay BMW at 18800 Hawthorne Boulevard in Torrance. Dick Helton and Vicky Moore will anchor the news from 5:00 – 9:00am, Frank Mottek will host the KNX Business Hour from 1:00 – 2:00pm and Jim Thornton and Karen Harlow will anchor the news from 2:00 – 7:00pm. Free refreshments will be served throughout the event.
