BUENA PARK (CBSLA.com) — An ammonia leak inside a refrigeration unit at a distribution plant in Buena Park resulted in the temporary evacuation of a dozen workers.
Firefighters, along with a hazardous-materials team, were dispatched to the scene at the Pepsi Bottling Group in the 6200 block of Caballero Boulevard about 7 a.m. Sunday.
According to Capt. Marc Stone of the Orange County Fire Authority, contractors have since repaired the small leak.
The scene was cleared about 9:30 a.m., he said.
No one was injured.
