REDLANDS (CBSLA.com) — Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was found in an orange grove in San Bernardino County.
The body of the unidentified 23-year-old was discovered by a resident around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday behind Citrus Plaza on Almond Avenue in Redlands, city spokesman Carl Baker said.
“I just saw a body. It was unusual. I just came across it and saw something that wasn’t moving and I called 911,” Susan Polich said.
Officials say the body appeared to have been dumped in the grove, the Sun said.
No additional details were released.
