SAN PEDRO (CBSLA.com) — Police are looking for a group of brazen shoplifters who were caught on tape stealing from a Southland Target store.

Los Angeles police say the shoplifters work as a team as one person distracts a check-out clerk while the others take off with carts full of merchandise.

“This is obviously something that was well rehearsed, fairly organized. It wasn’t their first time,” Officer Brad Baird said.

Thus far, they have hit Target store in San Pedro and are also believed to have stolen from another location in Hawthorne.
