BURBANK (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Friday responded to a traffic collision that resulted in a white minivan sitting atop a Volkswagen (VW) Beetle in Burbank.

The accident occurred around 6 p.m. on Alameda Avenue near the intersection of Glenoaks Boulevard.

Aerial video captured by CBS2′s Stu Mundel shows the larger van cuddling a small blue-gray VW bug. Spectators could be seen taking photos of the crash site.

The Burbank Police Department and the Burbank Fire Department were dispatched to the scene.

No one was hurt, Mundel said.

As of 6:10 p.m., Mundel said authorities were working to figure out how to separate the two vehicles.

The cause of the crash was not immediately known.
