BALDWIN PARK (CBSLA.com) — Police did a PITT maneuver on a stolen car suspect in Baldwin Park causing his vehicle to flip over.

Officials said the chase started in West Covina about 3:30 p.m.

The vehicle got a LoJack hit from a police helicopter. A sheriff told KCAL9 that the chase went from West Covina, then into Industry before going back through West Covina.

The suspect reportedly sustained a number of injuries in the chase.

Derek Bell, reporting in Sky9, said the suspect was taken to a nearby hospital.

After the car overturned, Bell said the suspect ran but was caught by a K-9 officer.

The suspect reportedly fought with the dog and sustained injuries not related to the crash.
