LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — More than 150 firefighters were battling a fire Wednesday in a three-story apartment building in the Valley Village area of Los Angeles.
The fire was reported around 10 a.m. in the 36-year-old building in the 5200 block of Bellingham Avenue.
The blaze was knocked down by 171 firefighters around 11:25 a.m.
Firefighters rescued at least two residents from a balcony.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were sent to evaluate residents, but no injuries have been reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
