Search Warrant Served At OC Home Linked To Dorner

LA PALMA (CBSLA.com) — Police on Friday served a search warrant at an Orange County residence reportedly linked to triple homicide suspect Christopher Dorner.

Irvine police and U.S. Marshals executed the warrant at the home along the 4900 block of Sharon Drive in the city of La Palma at approximately 12:00 p.m, according to Irvine Police Lt. Bill Whalen.

Authorities are searching for any possible evidence that may lead to his whereabouts, Whalen said.

The home is owned by Nancy Dorner, 62. Police believe the suspect had previously lived at the residence.

A neighbor told KCAL9's Michelle Gile that the 33-year-old fugitive was "friendly" when she spoke to him last week as he was moving camouflage bags in and out of his truck.

La Palma police and other law enforcement officials were seen armed with assault weapons standing guard outside the residence as the search continued into the afternoon.

Detectives from Orange County Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory were also on the scene to recover any items possibly linked to the rampage that left two civilians and one police officer dead.

Dorner's mother may also own property in Arrow Bear, near where hundreds of deputies were searching over an 8-square mile area for Dorner, according to the Daily Breeze.
