LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) — A man was stabbed to death in his Lancaster home on Tuesday.

Authorities said a friend discovered the victim suffering from stab wounds around 7 p.m. in the 43400 block of 16th Street West.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.

Homicide detectives are investigating the circumstances of the death.
