HANCOCK PARK (CBSLA.com) — A fire engulfed a two-story home in Hancock Park, across the street from the Canadian consulate, according to L.A. City Fire.
The blaze was reported at 4:30 p.m. and nearly 50 firefighters were on scene minutes later in the 200 block of S. Muirfield Road, LAFD spokesman Brian Humphrey said.
Flames tore through the roof of the 91-year-old home but didn’t spread to any surrounding structures before the fire was put out, Sky9′s Gil Leyvas reported.
No one was reportedly injured.
