LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A strange odor led city firefighters to downtown Los Angeles Saturday evening.
The indescribable odor was first reported after 7:35 p.m., according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The odor was reported at a cold storage warehouse located at 400 S. Central Avenue. The smell apparently came from a leak of an unknown substance.
Humphrey said an open valve was secured to stem the leak.
No one was reported injured and no evacuations were required, said Humphrey.
