SAUGUS (CBSLA.com) — A 58-year-old woman has been accused of stealing packages from her neighbors’ porches in Saugus, which is a community in Santa Clarita.

Mariola Gorak-Doughlin was arrested Tuesday in the 21800 block of Maged Court.

When deputies served a search warrant at the woman’s home, they found several stolen items, including a Christmas wreath on the suspect’s door that belonged to someone else.

“It turned out the wreath had been taken from the front door of a home just around the corner,” said Deputy Joshua Dubin from the L.A. County Sheriff’s Department Santa Clarita Valley station. “This has been a problem for some time.”

Gorak-Doughlin is being held on a $20,000 bail.
