MONROVIA (CBSLA.com) — The FBI is looking for a cross-dressing bank robber who held up a Chase Bank branch in the San Gabriel Valley Wednesday.
The man, wearing lip gloss, nail polish, a tan track suit and UGG-style boots, entered the bank at 690 W. Huntington Drive around 10 a.m. and reportedly threatened tellers with a substance in his briefcase, the FBI said.
The suspect said “he had a briefcase full of anthrax” and demanded money, Lt. Michael Lee told the Monrovia Patch.
The man then fled the bank with an unknown amount of money. He escaped with a getaway driver in a Chrysler PT Cruiser, according to the FBI.
The suspect is described as a black man, 28 to 33 years old, and between 5 feet 8 inches and 6 feet tall.
