Josh Rubenstein's Weather Forecast (Nov. 26)

STUDIO CITY (CBSLA.com) — The weather is transitioning this week from a very dry pattern to more of a moist pattern.

Today will be relatively nice with temperatures hovering at or just below average levels.

The marine layer this morning has made it all the way into the valleys. In fact, it is translating to dense fog throughout orange county and portions of the Inland Empire. An advisory is in place through 10 a.m. We should see most of it clear out through the day leaving us with hazy sunshine.

The on-shore flow will continue to strengthen Tuesday...ahead of wave of energy that will move through on Wednesday. The mid-week front could bring us some rain that would linger into Thursday.

While the bulk of this storm is expected to effect the northern portion of our viewing area in Ventura and Santa Barbara County...we could get up to a .25" in the Metro area. I'll have a better update on the rain scenario tomorrow morning.

There is another wave of energy moving in over the weekend. However, that one is a little more questionable as our forecast models are not in agreement. Nevertheless temperatures this week should hover near 70 today and in the mid to upper 60s for the rest of the week.

Coast-low to mid 60s
Basin-upper 60s to near 70
Valleys-upper 60s
Mountains-upper 50s
Deserts-upper 60s
