TORRANCE (CBSLA.com) — A jewelry store in Torrance was burglarized Saturday for a second time in the past two days.
Torrance police Sgt. Steven Jenkinson told KNX 1070’s Ed Mertz that both commercial burglaries occurred at Robbins Brothers at 21200 Hawthorne Boulevard around 5 a.m.
In both cases, the suspect (s) smashed a window to get inside.
On Friday, the burglar (s) made off with cubic zirconia diamonds valued at an estimated $500.
“Today they got off estimated about $5000 worth of jewelry,” Jenkinson said.
Mertz reports that authorities are reviewing surveillance video.
No further information was immediately available.
