LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Officials have given the all-clear following a major gas leak near the University of Southern California campus in Exposition Park.

The leak at the University Village Food Court on South Hoover Street was reported at 1:13 p.m. Friday. As of 1:40 p.m., KNX 1070 reported that the leak was resolved.

A campus alert indicated that the area has been cleared for normal business.

The Los Angeles Fire Department says firefighters arrived on scene after a security guard reported the smell of gas.

No evacuations were ordered and no injuries were reported.
