2 Hurt In El Segundo Workplace Stabbing
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Two people were hospitalized and a suspect was in custody after a reported stabbing attack in El Segundo, police said Wednesday.
Officers responded to a call at around 12:45 p.m. about an incident along the 100 block of Center Street at El Segundo Blvd., according to police.
Multiple units were called to the scene, police said.
A suspect was apprehended by police at around 2:25 p.m. on Imperial Highway near an onramp to the eastbound 105 Freeway, according to SKY9's Gil Leyvas.
Leyvas reported the attacks were being described as a workplace stabbing.
The wounds are considered nonfatal and the victims are expected to survive.
Center Street School remained on lockdown as of 3:00 p.m.
